Parents
At Rockboro we have always encouraged parents to be actively involved in the running of the School. There are four spheres of activity in which you involvement will make a significant contribution. They are-
-
Acting as a Class Representative whereby oneacts as

a communication channel between parents and teachers,
- Helping our teachers to organise and run the various Sports, Prizegiving and similar events,
- Assisting other parents with various social events and our three fund-raising fairs, the main ones being at Christmas and Easter, and
- Acting as a member of the General Committee which meets ten times p.a.
Annual Fund
Parents have long valued the small class size and broader curriculum offered to their children at Rockboro. The aim of the Annual Fund is to raise funds from parents, ex-parents, foundations and corporates for the development of new facilities. Since 2004, we have implemented three major projects- (i) a much improved parking layout, (ii) a custom built Pre-School, and (iii) a spacious extension, housing learning support, the library, music rooms, art, computers, and other support activities.
Our intention is to develop and improve our School campus for the future benefit of our Rockboro pupils.
Prospective contributors to the Annual Fund should note that as Rockboro School Association is a registered charity, donations of €250 or greater are tax deductible.
