Swimming

The Rockboro School Swimming team won the Inter- School Swimming Gala for the 27th successive year in 2009. Congratulations to all those who took part!

Sports Day

Our Sports Day is held in the CIT running track in Bishopstown. It usually takes place in May and students from Senior Infants to J6 participate. Parents are encouraged to attend the Sports Days. A Fun Sports Day is organised in the school for J1 to J6 towards the end of the school year.

Junior Sports Day

A Junior Sports Day is held at the school for Pre-School to Senior Infants. This is a fun day, which is usually held in the last week of the third term. The emphasis is on participation and enjoyment, no prizes are given for placing and all the children are given sweets/lollipops at the end. Parents are encouraged to attend.
